The beehive is one of the most delicious pastries especially when stuffed with dates as presented by the Egyptian fashion designer and cooking expert Nagham El Naggar who lives in Dubai.
The beehive can be stuffed with cheese, cold cuts, or chicken. However, El Naggar chose to stuff them with dates and share her recipe with the “See” readers:

Ingredients:
− 2 cups of flour.
− 2 tablespoons of powdered milk.
− 1 teaspoon on baking powder.
− 2 tablespoons of oil or butter.
− 1 tablespoon of instant yeast.
− 1 tablespoon of sugar.
− 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
− A pinch of salt.

Instructions:
− Add the instant yeast, sugar, and vinegar to ¼ a cup of warm water and stir till well combined. Let the mixture set for a few minutes or until the yeast is activated.
− In a large bowl, mix the flour, powdered milk, baking powder, and salt together before adding the oil and the yeast mixture.
− Add water gradually and knead till a dough is formed. Set aside to rest.
− Knead ½ a kilogram of pitted dates with the 1 tablespoon of ghee, sesame seeds, and some rose water, cinnamon, and cardamom flavors (add whatever flavors you prefer).
− Roll the dates mixture into small balls before rolling the dough into slightly bigger balls.
− Stuff the date balls into the dough balls before placing the stuffed balls into a baking pan (make sure the balls are placed about ½ a cm apart).
− Grease the stuffed balls with egg yolks and top them with some sesame seeds before placing them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
− Serve and Enjoy.
