She reached the final of the tournament after defeating Sara Bejlek 2-1.
In the same context, Sherif and her partner Laura Pigossi advanced to the final of the doubles competitions of the same tournament after defeating Francisca Jorge and Ingrid Martins in the semi-final.
Earlier, Sherif won the doubles title of Copa LP Chile with Nina Stojanovic.
Sherif wrote after the victory: "Happy with my doubles title along with Nina Stojanović 🏆. Not the results I wanted in singles but happy I was able to get match rythem after a long time away from competition."
