On Friday, International Tennis Hall of Famer Pam Shriver got her stolen trophies back.
They were stolen from her car while she was staying at a hotel after evacuating her home due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
Shriver said in a telephone interview Friday: “It was an interesting chapter. I wish the trophies could talk,” adding: “I would like to have known where they’ve been.”
Shriver won 111 doubles titles including 21 Grand Slam doubles championships, and a gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Shriver is now working as a TV commentator and coach.
She was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002.
