The Telegraph newspaper selected Egypt as a perfect destination for a post-lockdown escape.

In an article published by Matthew Morris on Tuesday, Morris said that Egypt confirmed low levels of Covid-19 that are still falling in a time where many countries impose strict lockdowns.

Morris recalled his experience when he had arrived earlier in Egypt, during which he did not spend much time at Cairo International Airport, about 20 minutes.

The Telegraph's writer spoke about the archaeological sites where he visited, including the Pyramids, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Abu Simbel Temples, as well as the Temple of Hatshepsut

He pointed out that Egypt has some of the world's most beautiful historic hotels, like the Winter Palace in Luxor and the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan.

Morris did not forget to write about Egypt's coastal cities on the Mediterranean and Red Seas, saying the water is clear and wonderful, mentioning that the hotels toughly implement the anti-coronavirus measures to ensure the safety of their guests.
