CEO & Managing Director of Tatweer Misr Dr. Ahmed Shalby said on Monday Tatweer Misr's strategy is based on employing innovation and creativity to offer more comfortable and sustainable real estate solutions for the clients.

"We should raise the awareness of our clients and employees of the importance of our products and ways to deal with them," Shalaby noted.

Shalby was delivering a speech during the 10th Annual George Washington University Global Entrepreneurship Research & Policy Conference, titled, “Entrepreneurship Ecosystems – The Future Ahead” held in Washington, D.C.

The event brought prominent academics, government leaders, and influential figures of the business community from 150 countries worldwide.

"Egypt's entrepreneurship ecosystem could succeed if supported by the proper tools and suitable educational activities," Tatweer Misr CEO affirmed.

He pointed out that Tatweer Misr, since its launch, paid special attention to education and entrepreneurship as a main two pillars to its social programs, adding the company sponsored several activities and events and supported youth entrepreneurs by building partnerships with them.

"Part of Tatweer Misr’s activities in the entrepreneurial field is the Annual Innovation Competition, which was firstly launched in 2017, to promote entrepreneurship and innovation to achieve the Egyptian young people's aspirations," he further said.

Shalby also pointed to the agreement with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) to support entrepreneurial education as an utmost priority, as it represents Egypt’s first American International Branch Campus (IBC), set to be built in Mostakbal City.

This came within a framework of Tatweer Misr's plan to bring US and UK universities and international schools in Bloomfields with an area over 50 feddans.

GW Entrepreneurship Week is the destination event for established entrepreneurs and those interested in entrepreneurship for the region.

The week increases awareness, opportunities, education, and funding for members of the GW community while driving entrepreneurial behaviors and creating measurable results.

It will also stimulate excitement about the Global Entrepreneurship Week that occurs annually in November. By building upon the popularity of existing programs and events, and potentially working with the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence, ICSB, GW Global Entrepreneurship & Research Conference, GWU Entrepreneurship Week would provide an opportunity for those interested parties from many disciplines, both throughout GWU and within the local and regional community.
