Tamer Hosny Gives Fans Sneak Peek of Collab with Adel Hakki

Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny is currently working on the soundtracks of his new film "Mesh Ana", in preparation for its release in cinemas in the coming period.

The film features Hosny cooperating with music producer and composer, Adel Hakki, who has given fans a first look at their collaboration.

The tracklist will also feature several songs such as “Qad Al-Faraq” and “Bi hobak”.

It also stars Hala Shiha, Sawsan Badr, Maged El Kedwany, and others. The film is written by Tamer Hosny, directed by Sarah Wafik, and produced by production companies Synergy production and HS production.

“Mesh Ana” witnesses Shiha’s return to the big screen after 13 years of absence, as her last appearance was in 2006 film “Kamel El Awsaf” (Mr. Perfect).

The plot revolves around the psychological state of the protagonist, Hassan (Tamer Hosny), who has a very strong relationship with his sick mother (Sawsan Badr). He is always keen to hang out with her as long as possible as well as taking care of her, as she is the center of his universe.

The film’s production got suspended several times due to the coronavirus outbreak. It resumed shooting mostly in the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), and in the streets of Wust El-Balad and Dokki.

“Mesh Ana” marks the first Egyptian film to be shot in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is worth mentioning that Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, is an Egyptian singer, composer, actor, producer, songwriter, and author.

The 42-year-old began his career when renowned TV presenter “Salma Al Shamaa”, who gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.

During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer ‘Nasr Mahrous’.

Ever since, he worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently, achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.

He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.

Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.

He performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
