Egypt’s renowned archaeologist Zahi Hawass inaugurated an exhibition for artist and Egyptologist Fikry Hassan entitled 'Tagliat Kas wa Lask' at Dai Galleria.

Hassan who has depicted the history of Egypt through his life set up his works to bring culture, art, and heritage closer to the public.

The exhibition showcases over 70 paintings, drawings, digital art, photographs, and sculpture with some monuments to be displayed in the gallery, according to art critic Mostafa El-Razan.

In addition to this, it features a number of colored papers associated with abstraction and Minimalism approaches at the same time.

The exhibition, which will continue until March 31, is a chance to explore the myriad ways in which the technique of cut and paste has been used to create work that is playful, expressive, and innovative.
