Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El Din, the Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs and Prevention, said, Tuesday, that winter is the key season for the emergence of several cold and flu viruses, alongside COVID-19's Omicron.
He added that there are a few Omicron cases with simple and moderate symptoms, in addition, no detected cases needed hospitalizing.
Tag El Din added in his phone interview with TV Host Sayed Ali that respiratory viruses have no fever as one of the essential symptoms.
He clarified that a lot of infections are not suffering from fever, adding that antibiotics should be described by doctors.
The expert reflected that the best medicine for those viruses is Paracetamol, alongside home rest.
