On Monday, a Swiss Football Federation announced that the data analysis team of the Swiss team has been stolen in the Maritime hotel near Dusseldorf airport.
The meeting room of the team contained several laptop devices and large screens and they carrying important analytical data of the Swiss team.
According to the officials, three laptops were stolen from the room.
Adrian Arnold, representative of the Swiss Football Federation, said: "I confirm that 3 laptops of the analysis team were stolen from the hotel. The police got involved." This questions the leak of analytical data of the Swiss team.
Arnold commented: "Those data are not exactly what we need to analyze the matches at Euro 2024. So if this is a data attack targeting the Swiss team, They're on the wrong team!”
Currently, the representative of the Swiss team is cooperating with the police to investigate the incident.
Security cameras discovered the suspect, but more time is needed for verification.
