The Embassy of Switzerland in Cairo commented on the arrival of the first flight from Geneva to Sharm El Sheikh in five years, media agencies reported on Tuesday.
the post added that there will be one direct Geneva- Sharm El Shepikh flight per week.
Arrived last week, the flight carried 62 passengers who are ready for visiting some resorts on the Red Sea.
Airport officials and a number of security leaders received the tourists and distributed roses and gifts to them.
In press statements, Sharm al-Sheikh airport head Nabil el Maleh said the flight will be operated every Saturday.
