White House National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan said that the US believes the Iranian government is preparing to supply Russia with hundreds of drones; to help Moscow in its ongoing attack on Ukraine.

"Our information indicates that the Iranian government is preparing to supply Russia with up to several hundred, UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles, in an urgent time frame," Sullivan added in a statement carried by the American newspaper "The Hill".

Moreover, He added that the Iranians are preparing to train Russian forces to use these drones as early as this month.

It is worth mentioning that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz described the repercussions of the situation in Ukraine as a historic challenge, noting that this situation will not change in the foreseeable future, according to Russia Today (RT).

In press remarks, Scholz expressed hope that Germany will be able to deal with the Ukraine crisis.

Moreover, the German chancellor explained that the federal government has provided two intensive packages of aid to significantly reduce the financial burden on citizens, noting that 30 billion euros have been allocated for these purposes.

Earlier, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson stressed that the leaders of G7 are united and determined to continue supporting Ukraine.

“The G7 must continue to help Ukrainians rebuild and protect themselves,” Johnson said in an exclusive statement to BBC TV on Monday.

“There is no deal Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can make, so under these circumstances, the G7 and Ukraine’s supporters around the world should continue to help Ukrainians rebuild their economy, export their grain, and protect themselves,” he added.

Moreover, Johnson noted that the situation in southeastern Ukraine is still very difficult, but Ukraine has shown an incredible ability to repel and change the military situation.

In addition, Johnson said that G7 leaders have agreed that the world must intensify economic pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin in any way possible.

This came during a phone call between Johnson and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“The world must support Ukraine further and faster,” Zelensky stressed.

He also added that he told G7 leaders that ‘Ukraine needs to acquire military equipment that allowed them to not just hold ground in Ukraine, but recapture it.’
