Sudan's Al-Merrikh chairman Hazem Mostafa said on Monday that his team will hold their CAF Champions League matches at Al Salam stadium.
"Al-Merrikh stadium needs from nine to twelve months to host the games as we decided to hold our games in Cairo," Mostafa said in statements to OnTime Sports.
He confirmed that his team will deliver brilliant performance during the CAF Champions League matches, stressing that the two teams, which will reach from their group will be Al-Merrikh and Al Ahly.
Al-Merrikh are set to clash against Sundown in the round two of the group stage, after their match against the Red Devils has been postponed due to the African Champions' participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.
