Sudanese President Declares Salary Increase Date

CAIRO, Jan. 3 (SEE)- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir declared that he had implemented some procedures to enhance the social situation in his country, including a program for increasing salaries starting from January.

He added, according to the Sudanese News agency “SUNA”, that the government is seeking to improving services in all fields such as housing support.

Bashir stressed his deep feeling towards the poor who are suffering, as he passed through some similar hard circumstances when he was young and had to work a lot in order to earn a living.

He also admitted the existence of some problems facing the country, supporting peaceful demonstrations and not acts of sabotage.
