CAIRO, Jan. 26 (SEE)- Head of the State Council Ahmed Abu el Azm will consider on Saturday the appeal filed by Uber and Careem over the suspension of their service in Egypt.

The Commissioners Authority of the Supreme Constitutional Court recommended that the appeal should not be considered and that the contested verdict should be revoked.

The Committee for State Affairs along with Uber and Careem have filed the appeal stating that; the failure of the administrative authorities to issue the necessary decisions adjusting the companies conditions, in order to preserve the workers' rights, reflects a negative settlement and increases the unemployment rates in the country.

The verdict, however, will not affect the activity of the two companies, following the recent approval of the House of Representatives law regulating the status of the companies.
