Youth and Sports minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhy congratulated on Saturday the National Team of the Special Olympics for the unified women’s football after clinching the bronze medal in the Special Olympics Unified Cup.
The tournament is currently being held in Detroit, USA, from July 31 to August 6.
The Pharaohs demolished Caribbean team with six clean goals in the third-placed play off on Friday.
On his part, Sobhi praised the brilliant performance, delivered by the Egyptian team during the tournament and their insistence on exerting efforts in order to secure win in all games and claim the Bronze medal.
It is worth mentioning that the Unified Cup has been held with the participation of 22 national teams, including 10 for men and 12 for women from all over the world.
