"You are a good ambassador for sports in Egypt and all the Egyptians supported  you," Sobhi said.

The Egyptian minister expressed his deep pleasure over the achievement accomplished by the national team.

The Pharaohs managed to end the first half with a 12-11 score.

Egypt remained undefeated in the tournament as they qualified for the main round after topping Group A with maximum six points.
