The Special Olympics Egypt delegation concluded its closed camp as part of its preparations to participate in the Special Olympics World Summer Games, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, from 12 to 26 June.

Egypt participates in the World Summer Games of the Special Olympics with an Egyptian delegation consisting of 109 individuals, consisting of 69 male and female players and 37 coaches to represent Egypt in 15 sports, namely football, basketball, table tennis, ground tennis, badminton, gymnastics, judo, equestrian, weightlifting, bowling, bocce, cycling, swimming, athletics and floor hockey, in addition to Egypt's participation in the two World Youth Conferences for leading players held on the sidelines of the games.

The Special Olympics World Summer Games are the largest event of Special Olympics International, with more than 7,000 athletes and 2,500 coaches from more than 170 countries around the world
