On Thursday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and his Danish counterpart, Mette Frederiksen arrived in Kyiv to meet Zelenskyy.

In a statement, the Spanish government announced that Sánchez arrived in Kyiv with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, as they will meet the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, noting that after their meeting, the three of them will talk to the press.

The government said on Tuesday about this meeting without specifying its date for security reasons.

In a comment about his visit, Sánchez said that he will express to the Ukrainian president the “resounding and unequivocal commitment” of the European Union in general and Spain in particular.

He added that Spain will continue to send aid of various kinds to Ukraine, and receive the Ukrainian refugees in its territories.
