Smart, Mobile, Classrooms to Be Introduced in Egypt

Media reports revealed an ongoing manufacturing of new smart classrooms, which can overcome challenges of quantity in densely populated places.

The latest news was shared on the official Facebook page of Minister of Transportation Kamel El-Wazeer.

In the details, the war factory 200 started the process of manufacturing educational classrooms which are mobile cars in two designs, one can receive 21 students and more, and the second receives 42 students and more. The project, which will be announced in the coming days; it will include fully air-conditioned places which are painted with heat insulation materials.

The mobile classrooms are an innovative solution as they are equipped and conform to all the educational requirements. Each classroom is equipped with smart screen and seats for students, and all other teaching aids.

The first group of these classes includes 100, and comes as an experiment to fill the deficit of low quantity of classes.

On their part, officials stressed that the military factory is able to meet the needs of the Ministry of Education and all that it requires from this type of classroom before the academic year 2019/2020.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with Net Dragon, a Chinese computer software development and educational technology company, military factory 144 as well as the Ministry of Education.

Mean while, Qalaa Holdings organised a round table to discuss the progress of Mostakbaly (My Future) scholarship program, one of its educational projects with its partners: Egyptian Refining Company (ERC) and American University in Cairo (AUC).

Mostakbaly program, which started three years ago, was created to develop skills of local public-school teachers to upgrade educational system and achieve sustainable development.
