Sisi: We Will Work on Achieving Aspirations of COMESA Member States

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi assumed the chairmanship of the 21st Summit of COMESA Heads of State and Government, which kicked off on Tuesday at the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

The President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, handed over the presidency of the summit of COMESA Heads of State and Government to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

This summit  aims to deepen economic and regional integration and development among the member states, in line with the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement.

President Sisi expressed his sincere thanks to the President of the Republic of Madagascar for his efforts and tangible achievements that have been made to deepen economic integration among member states, stressing that Egypt will work on achieving the aspirations of member states.

"I am confident that our meeting today will come out with a constructive recommendation to serve regional economic integration", Sisi said.

He also welcomed all delegations participating in the summit, wishing them all success.
