Sisi Heads for Africa-Europe Forum in Vienna

VIENNA, Dec. 16 (SEE)- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived on Sunday in the Austrian capital Vienna on a four-day visit to participate in the Africa-Europe forum.

Heads of States, stakeholders of major companies, as well as innovative entrepreneurs will take part in the forum to enhance African-European cooperation under the title "Taking Cooperation to the Digital Age."

Sisi is expected to hold talks with his Austrian counterpart to discuss ways of boosting cooperation in the economic, educational and scientific domains between the two countries.

The Forum will focus on the potential for strengthing collaboration between African and European countries in the fields of technology and trade.

It will also highlight the importance of technology for economic growth, employment creation and sustainable development strategy.

On Monday, Sisi is expected to meet Austrian counterpart Alexander Van der Bellen, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, and Speaker of the National Council Wolfgang Sobotka.

Egypt will sign a memorandums of understanding (MoU) with Austrian investors in various fields including innovation and digitization.
