Sisi Stresses Necessity of Unifying Arab Stances to Protect National Security

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted on Saturday that uniting stances will enable Arab states to protect the determinants of Arab national security concerning all issues.

"This came during his meeting with Arab Parliament Speaker Adil al Asoomi, in which House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi Gebali and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also attended," Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

Welcoming Asoomi in Egypt, the president asserted Cairo’s full support to the Arab Parliament.

Asoomi, on his part, hailed the president’s role in protecting the Arab national security especially including his stance against the foreign intervention in Libya as well as Egypt’s role in pushing forward the Arab joint action in various fields.

He also pointed to the unprecedented development witnessed in Egypt under the leadership of Sisi.
