President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held on Sunday a tripartite summit in Sharm El-Sheikh with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.
"President Sisi welcomed the Bahraini and Jordanian kings, expressing appreciation for the close and historical relations that bring together the three countries at the official and popular levels," said official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Bassam Ready.
He added that President Sisi stressed Egypt's aspiration to enhance constructive cooperation among Egypt, Bahrain and Jordan, to achieve the common interests of their brotherly peoples, and enhance the efforts of joint Arab action, especially in light of the great challenges resulting from the multiple regional and international developments.
