Sisi orders establishing new cities in line with modern life standards

CAIRO, July 14 (SEE) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to continue exerting utmost to make new cities a pioneering model for life in Egypt in line with modern standards, MENA news agency reported.

He underlined the importance of providing means of practicing sports for all the brackets of the society.

These remarks came during Sisi's meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madboli, Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces Mohamed Ameen Nasr and representatives of the Engineering Consultants Group (ECG), Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

The meeting touched on the progress achieved in establishing a number of new cities including the New Administrative Capital, the New Alameen and New Mansoura. Other projects including roads and main axes to serve these cities were also discussed, Rady added.

The meeting tackled also the latest developments of establishing zones for integrated services on 60 feddans for each city.
