Sisi Mourns Death of Field Marshal Tantawi

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi mourned the death of Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, who passed away on Tuesday morning.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi wrote, on his official account on Facebook: “Today, I lost a father, a teacher, and a person loyal to his country. I learned a lot from him, he was a role model in dedication to serving the country.”

"Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi confronted the most serious difficulties that Egypt faced in its contemporary history.  Field Marshal Tantawi was loyal to Egypt and its people,  I extend my sincere condolences to the great people of Egypt, I pray to God to inspire the family of Field Marshal Tantawi patience and solace."
