Sisi Leads Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Assar’s Military Funeral Procession

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, led the military funeral procession of the Minister of State for Military Production honorary Lieutenant General Mohamed Saeed Al-Assar, who passed away on Monday.

The military funeral procession was held at El-Mosheer Tantawy Mosque, at Fifth Settlement.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki, and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Mohamed Farid attended the funeral.

Senior statesmen, commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces, and in-service senior and former commanders of the Armed Forces also went to the funeral.
