Sisi Lauds Government’s Achievements Amid Pandemic

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi praised on Saturday the achievements made by the Egyptian government despite the coronavirus pandemic.

"I would like to thank the government for the positive economic indicators it has achieved this year despite the coronavirus crisis and its dire consequences," Sisi wrote on his official Facebook page.

“Those efforts have been commended by major international financial institutions, topped by the IMF’s experts declaration that the Egyptian economy has exceeded expectations and showed resilience during the pandemic, due to the strict implementation to the economic reform program,” Sisi added.

The president also extended his regards to the Egyptian people for supporting the government and reforms.
