President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Egyptians and Muslims on al-Israa and al-Miraj anniversary, saying that "This occasion is a memory redolent of the manifestation of Allah’s mercy on our nation."
"I congratulate the Egyptian people, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the Isra and Mi’raj; a memory redolent of the manifestation of Allah’s mercy on our nation," Sisi tweeted on Sunday.
He added: "It illustrated a way of life and devotion for the soul. I ask Allah Almighty, on this good occasion, to protect Egypt and its people from all evil."
In the meantime, First Lady Entissar El-Sisi posted on her Facebook account: "Wishing many happy returns to the Islamic nation on the occasion of Isra and Mi’raj; that sacred journey that Allah bestowed upon His Noble Messenger, peace be upon him, as a testimony, an elevation of his illustrious position."
"This is a memory redolent of feelings of faith and the manifestation of Allah’s miracles; a reminder that the message of the Seal of the Prophets, is the message of all the prophets.I pray to Allah on this honorable occasion to preserve the Arab and Islamic nation, and for peace to prevail in all parts of the Earth," she noted.
