President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that the Egyptian state has taken a set of packages in order to mitigate global inflation effects, which not only affects Egypt, but the whole world.
During inspecting the Military Academy on Saturday, the president added that regarding the industry, “we are trying to reduce the import bill and also increase the export bill as much as possible.”
On the other hand, president Sisi praised the role of the armed forces in protecting the country from dangers, stressing that we should shed light on the army’s role over the past 10 years.
“The armed forces have protected the Egyptian state from all evil forces”.
President Sisi stressed that he is proud of the Egyptian armed forces, noting that all the Egyptian people appreciate the efforts and role of the Egyptian armed forces at all times, even in crises.
In addition, the president talked about the Chinese crisis and recent developments, saying: “We run our foreign policy according to fixed principles that do not change and depend on regional and international stability, so that we are keen on the stability of the world .”
“We have a consistent policy toward Taiwan… We say that Egypt backs that ‘One-China’ policy for the sake of the stability and security of the world… We do not want more crises, ” the president added.
Regarding the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, Sisi said that everyone followed up the Arab committee that belongs to the Arab League, noting that it held contacts with Russia and Ukraine in an attempt to return to a diplomatic path.. and find a political solution to the crisis away from war.
Moreover, Sisi affirmed Egypt’s keenness to continue its positive role regarding what is happening in the Gaza Strip through its contacts with the Palestinian and Israeli sides, noting that Egypt is working with its partners to restore peace and stability in the Gaza Strip.
He also stressed that Egypt’s foreign policy depends on balance, and non-interference in the internal affairs of others, pointing out that it prefers political and diplomatic tracks.
On the Renaissance Dam, Sisi said : ” I want to tell you all, we took the path of diplomacy and negotiation to reach a solution”, stressing that no one can harm the water of Egypt.
