Sisi Directs Govt to Establish Integrated City for Gold Production, Trade

President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi directed on Saturday the government to establish an integrated city for the gold industry and trade in Egypt, according to Bassam Radi, the spokesman for the presidency.

This came during the President’s  meeting with Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Tarek Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Amir Sayed Ahmed, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and Mohamed Amin, Advisor to the President Republic for Financial Affairs.

The president directed the government to the provision of financial resources to establish the city in accordance with the latest technologies in this field to reflect Egypt's ancient civilization history in this delicate craft industry, and in an integrated manner in terms of providing industry and production supplies, high-end exhibitions, training workers to refine their capabilities.

The move will take into account the logistical aspects in terms of choosing the location of the city to take advantage of the new road network and axes for easy access to and from and to receive visitors.

The meeting witnessed the follow-up of the executive steps, currently underway, to develop the bakery system across the country.

The president also directed to ensure the governance of the bakery systems by automating the work cycle in it, raising the efficiency of logistical operations, as well as continuing efforts to convert bakeries to work with natural gas because of its economic return and significant environmental positive impact.
