Sisi Delegates 2 Ministers to Participate in African Peace Forum in Angola

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, delegated Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture and Ambassador Hamdi Sanad, Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs, to participate in the opening ceremonies of the General African Forum For Culture of Peace in the Angolan capital Luanda.

The forum will run from 18 to 22 September- in collaboration with Egypt's Presidency of the African Union.

This delegation is accompanied by Ambassador Khaled Hassan, the Egyptian Ambassador to Angola and Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Director of the National Academy for Training.

Those participating in the forum include eight governmental representatives of four African regions and a number of international figures including Joao Gonçalves Lorenao, President of the Republic of Angola – the hosting country, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, President of the Republic of Mali and the Hero of the African Union for Culture, Hag Gutfried Djingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, Felix Tshisekedi - President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and representatives of Cape Verde- Ethiopia, Tanzania.

Other participants include Audrey Azoli, UNESCO Director-General, Sergio Luther Rescova- Governor of Luanda Province, Maria Piedad de Jesus- Minister of Culture of Angola, Denis Mukweig- Nobel Peace Prize winner 2018 and Musa Faki Mohamed, Chairman of the Commission of the African Union.

It is worthy of note that a high-level meetings is scheduled to be held during which the heads of the participating countries will discuss many contemporary issues to exchange experiences, support and develop relations, study the developmental projects of the continent and try to end conflicts.
