Sisi Urges Concerned Bodies to Develop Martyrs Fund Mechanisms

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called concerned bodies to maintain developing mechanisms of the fund to honor martyrs and increasing its financing sources to better benefit martyrs' families, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady on Wednesday.

During a meeting on with Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs Mohamed Amin, board chairman of the fund el Sayyed el Ghali and the executive director of the fund Ahmed el Ashaal, President Sisi issued directives that the fund studies paying a one-time compensation to those who benefit from it as per law no. 16 of the year 2018.

The meeting discussed activities of the fund in 2020, the financial position of the fund, and the services it offers to beneficiaries in coordination with the state bodies concerned.
