Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry said on Sunday that he discussed with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, ways to boost bilateral relations, especially in trade and economic fields.
Moreover, Shoukry added that regional issues of common interest were also discussed, including the Palestinian issue, the situation in Libya and the eastern Mediterranean.
In addition, FM said that Egypt is looking forward to further cooperation, as Italy is Egypt's first trade partner in Europe, wishing success to the Italian minister in his new duties.
