CAIRO, Nov. 4 (SEE) – Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry took part in "2063 Agenda: Africa we want" session on the sideline of the World Youth Forum taking place in Sharm el-Sheikh between 3-6 Nov.

"Under the Egyptian presidency of the African Union, we seek to intensify our efforts with our partners in the African continent, to implement the pillars of Agenda 2063," Shoukry said during the session.

Shoukry said that one of the main axes of Agenda 2063 is enabling youth through introducing training programs, providing them with knowledge and involving them in all specialized forums and conferences. This will play a role in implementing the Agenda of 2063, foster Africa's sustainable development plans and eradicate poverty.

"Shoukry's participation reflects Egypt's eagerness to play a role in developing the continent of Africa," said Ahmed Hafez, the foreign ministry's official spokesperson.

Hafez manifested that the idea of 'Africa we want in 2063' was originally launched after African leaders and governments vowed to boost mutual efforts for the sake of Africa's development including achieving progress in main fields.
