Shery Adel to Star in Film "Bab Al-Sama"

Egyptian actress, Shery Adel recently signed on to star in a new film entitled "Bab al-Sama" (Sky's door).

The film is written by author Ahmad El Mallawany and directed by Mahmoud Kamel.

"Bab al-Sama" marks the third cooperation between Adel and Kamel after the 2018 TV series "Al Seham Al Mareka"(Rogue Arrows), and her part in the story "Amur Sakshi" (A personal Matter) from TV series "Ela Ana" (except me), which was recently screened on DMC Channel.

"Amur Sakshi" is the fourth story of "Ela Ana" and has achieved great success.

The story is written by Omar Abdel Halim and also stars Mohamed Adel, Nihal Anber, Ehab Fahmy, Mido Adel, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Moataz Ihab, and others.

The plot revolves around a 'spinster woman' (Adel) who faces great deals after getting married.

Adel made her last cinematic appearance in the 2017 film "Fen Qalby" (Where is my heart) starring Moustafa Amar.

It is worth mentioning that Adel, born on April 19, 1988, began her career with appearances on advertisements as a child, followed by television appearances.

At the age of 15, she made her cinema debut in film “Hamada Yelab” (Hamada is Playing) which followed by roles TV series “Hayyati Inta”, “al-Mersyo al-Bahar”, and “Efreet al-Qirsh”.

The actress rose to stardom for her role as Queen Neriman in the 2010 TV series “Al Malek Farouk” (King Farouk).

She also starred in several films including “Kharig a’n al-Qanoon” (Outlaw), “Kalashnikov”, and “Hassan wa Morqoss”.

The actress is best known for her roles in films “Hamada Yelab”, “Amir el Bahar”, and “Bolbol Hayran”.

She is also known for her television appearances in “Yatarabaa fi euzuin”, “Hamam Shaykh al-Arab”, “Al Moatn Ex”, “Rakam Maghol”, “Ism Moaqat”, “Farq Tawqit”, “Al Khatia”, “Leaabet Eblis”, “El Boyoot Asrar”, “Nasibi Wa Qesmetik”, “Nasibi Wa Qesmetik 2”, “Alhisan al’aswad”, and “Al Seham Al Mareka”.
