'Shadow of the Wall': Innovative Artistic Combination of Storytelling, Painting

"Shadow of the Wall" will be performed over two consecutive nights on Jan 31 and Feb. 1 at the Mausoleum of Fatima Khatun.

The show will be an enchanting world of storytelling and graphic drawings. Performed live, the show is an audiovisual with a unique setting that tells the stories of some of the amazing women of the historic era of Al-Khalifa area.

During the show, the narrator Chrinie El Ansary tells a group of interesting stories that deal with important women figures from the history of Egypt and combine them with contemporary stories of the women of the area, accompanied by dazzling light drawings by the Austrian-Polish artist Agnes Misachek, using the Tagtool technology, which takes the audience to an innovative and dazzling artistic world that gives a charming feeling to the place, and giving a feeling  like the walls are telling their own story.

The realization is done by two incredibly talented women; Chrinie El Ansary who’s behind the powerful words of the show and Agnes Michalczyk the mastermind behind the visuals.

This event is organized by Megawra and sponsored by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cairo and the Austrian Ministry of Culture.
