Science, Technology Fund finances15 research projects

The working group of Science and Technology Development fund  will  select and finance 15 projects  for Young researchers

with a total of three million Egyptian  pounds.The project duration will be two to three years.

Imad Hijazi, acting director of the Science and Technology Development Fund,said

that the Science and Technology Development Fund hosted a delegation from the United States of America within the framework of the 19th session of the Egyptian-American Cooperation Program,

Egyptian American Committee evaluate and select scientific  projects submitted by researchers from different universities, centers, institutes

He explained that the joint committee evaluates the projects submitted in accordance with the declaration issued by the Science Fund in the fields of agriculture, pharmacy, engineering and chemistry.

The committee liquidated these projects to 43 projects with an assessment rate of more than 80%.

Dr. Hejazi said that the process of selecting research projects is in line with the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to achieve the plans and objectives of  2030 Egypt's vision and to enhance  sustainable development in various fields.
