Hours ago, Saudi State Security announced the arrest of a terrorist cell that was training in the sites of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The official Saudi Press Agency "SPA" quoted the official spokesperson of the Presidency of State Security in the kingdom saying that the competent authorities at the Presidency thwarted a terrorist cell, whose elements received a military and field training at the Revolutionary Guard's sites in Iran.

The statement released Monday explained that the training took place three years ago.

"Security investigations revealed the elements' identities as well as two sites used by the elements to store weapons and explosives," the statement added, noting to the arrest of 10 people, 3 of them received military training in Iran.

The official spokesman, Major General Bassam Attia, said that the forces have confiscated a quantity of weapons and explosives hidden in two locations.

Pictures of the seizures in a house and a farm used by the terrorist cell and its den, showed explosives, weapons, detonation devices, computers, mobile phones, ammunition, and monitoring devices all equipped and equipped to carry out terrorist operations.

Worth noting that, since its establishment by a royal order from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on July 20, 2017, the Presidency of State Security has become one of Saudi Arabia's shields against black terror plans, achieving successive successes in preemptive strikes against hotbeds of terrorism.
