Saudi's crown prince holds talks with Russia's Lavrov in Riyadh

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Russian Foreign Minster Sergey Lavrov in Riyadh.

During the meeting, Lavrov conveyed the greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin to King Salman and his crown prince.

Bin Salman and Lavrov also discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, areas of joint cooperation, and ways to support and develop them in various fields.

They also reviewed efforts to enhance security and stability in a number of regional and international developments, and issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

Lavrov's visit to Saudi Arabia comes as part of his Gulf tour that was started by his visit to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday,  where he met with Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan among other officials,
