Saudi Crown Prince Arrives in Cairo in Third Leg of Arab Tour

CAIRO, Nov. 26 (SEE)- Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman will arrive in Cairo within a few hours in a two-day visit to discuss plenty of issues with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.

Both leaders are expected to tackle several issues of a mutual interest and ways to boost Cairo-Riyadh relations.

Political, regional and international developments will also be discussed, according to Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi.

Radi stressed Monday that "Sisi and MBS's bilateral talks come within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries."

On Sunday, the crown prince arrived in Bahrain for the second leg of his Arab tour and was later received by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Sakhir Palace, Bahraini state television reported.

MBS is also expected to participate in a G20 meeting in Buenos Aires at the end of the month, which will be attended by leaders from the United States, Turkey and other European countries.

Also, He is expected to visit Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania as part of his tour of several Arab states.

Tunisian activists have called for protests in front of the presidential palace in Carthage and are trying to mount a legal challenge to stop the visit.

The crown prince arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday at the start of a tour of several Arab countries.

Saudi and UAE leaders discussed the latest developments in Yemen and ways to counter terrorism and Iranian threats.

MBS was warmly greeted upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi as UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan received him at the airport.
