Spanish reports claimed on Monday that Saudi Arabia would host the Spanish Super Cup until the year 2029.

Saudi's sports minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal had announced that the Kingdom will continue to host the Spanish tournament.

According to Marca, the Arabia state succeeded in maintaining its role in hosting the Super Cup. It also added that Saudi Arabia pays 30 million euros per year to preserve its host of the Spanish tournament.

The Spanish newspaper also added that the former agreement signed between two parties provided for hosting 3 copies from 2019 to 2021.

It also added that the football governing body in Spain reached a new agreement with the Arabia state to extend the contract for another three years, with an option for renewing it for another four years.

"The Spanish Federation will receive an amount between 240 million euros and 320 million euros," it concluded.
