Saudi Arabia, China to Sign 20 Agreements worth $30 Billion

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed on Tuesday an official visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from December 7 to 9, 2022; in response to the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz  to strengthen the historical relations and the distinguished strategic partnership.

During the visit of the Chinese president, three summits will be held: (Saudi-Chinese, Chinese-Gulf, and Chinese-Arab); In the presence of more than 30 leaders of countries and international organizations, which reflects its importance, and the regional and international attention it holds.

On the sidelines of the Saudi-Chinese summit, more than 20 preliminary agreements worth more than 110 billion riyals ($29.33 billion) will be signed, in addition to the signing of the strategic partnership document between the Kingdom and China, and the harmonization plan between the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Belt and Road Initiative. 

ِAlso, The Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman Award  for cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China will be announced during the summit, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
