A source revealed on Tuesday that Zamalek's midfielder Ferjani Sassi landed in Cairo  after testing negative for coronavirus.

On Monday, the Tunisian international, who was ruled out of Sunday's CAF Champions League encounter against Raja, announced that he tested negative for the respiratory disease.

The source also added that the 28-year-old player has moved with Wydad's delegation, heading to Cairo, as he gears up for the White Knights' second tie in the Champions League on Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that Wydad's delegation headed to Cairo earlier today as they prepared for their second leg against Al Ahly.
