As many videos and snaps of Palestinians’ confrontations with Israeli-occupation forces went viral, Arab and Egyptian footballers expressed their outrage and solidarity with Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah on social media.

In this regard, Egypt's and Liverpool player Mohamed Salah urged the Prime Minister of the UK Boris Johnson and other world leaders on Tuesday to take action to end Israeli aggression in the west bank and protect Jerusalem Palestinians.

The renowned player took to his verified Twitter handle to voice his solidarity and support for Palestinian civilians.

Salah wrote on Twitter: "I’m calling on all the world leaders including the Prime Minister of Britain to do everything in their power to make sure the violence and killing of innocent people stop immediately. He added: "Enough is enough."

Meanwhile, Salah delighted his fans with a rare treat this night, by sharing adorable throwback photos from the Old City of Jerusalem, to show his solidarity with the Palestinians.

It's worth mentioning that the ‘Sheikh Jarrah’ neighborhood is witnessing its worst violence in years over renewed Israeli encroachment in the district, which has been home to 28 Palestinian refugee families who lost their homes in 1948.
