Egyptian star Mohamed Salah secured a point for Liverpool in the opening match of their adventure in the Premier League by scoring a goal and making another assist.
The Reds went down to 1-0 after 33 minutes when the hosts made a brilliant counterattack as Aleksandar Mitrović towered above the Reds defenders and planted the ball into the far corner to make it 1-0.
Liverpool had to wait till a minute after the hour-mark to level the scoring when Salah cut inside the penalty area from the right flank, before sending a low cross into the penalty area, where Darwin Núñez met with a brilliant backheel to make it 1-1.
The hosts have been awarded a penalty kick in the 72nd minute and the Serbian player managed to convert it into the back of the net to restore the lead once again.
Liverpool refused to suffer their first defeat in the Premier League when the Egyptian star slotted the ball into the back of the net from inside the penalty area to secure the first point for Liverpool.
