Salah Lifts Egypt's Flag in Qatar [Video]

Liverpool Star Mohamed Salah lifted the Egyptian flag at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

During his celebration with claiming the Fifa Club World Cup title with Liverpool, the iconic Egyptian star got the Egyptian Flag from one of the supporters in the stadium, conveying a message to the whole world.

He also was so keen on making an interview with Qatar's channel, when he held the flag to convey a message to the whole world that he is proud of his nationality as an Egyptian citizen.

A late extra-time goal by Roberto Firmino granted Liverpool the first Fifa Club World Cup title over Brazil’s Flamengo.

The 27-year-old player scooped the best player award in the tournament.

He became the first Egyptian player to lift the World Cup trophy, but the third one to take part in the final encounter after Hussein El Shahat and Yehia Nader, who participated with Emirate's Al- Ain in the final clash against Real Madrid in the last season.

In 2019, the iconic Egyptian star became the sixth Premier League player, who scooped the top scorer award for two consecutive years.

The iconic Egyptian star managed to guide his team also to lift the Uefa Champions League title after defeating Tottenham with two clean goals.

2019 is considered as one of the most important and stunning years in Mo Salah’s football career. On January 8, 2019, Salah scooped the African Player of the Year award for the second time in his history.

The iconic Egyptian star smashed a new record in 2019 after being ranked fifth in Ballon d’Or and was shortlisted for the ‘African Player of the Year’ Award in the CAF Awards 2019.
