Mohamed Salah has admitted that a draw was the fair result between Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Reds had to settle for a point at Anfield in their final league fixture before the October international break.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Liverpool, before Phil Foden equalised for the visitors.

Salah got his ninth goal of the season with a sublime inpidual effort, but it would prove not to be the winner as Kevin De Bruyne restored parity in the latter stages of the second half.

Liverpool were under pressure from City for large portions of the first half, but responded well after the interval to earn a hard fought point.
