Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah refused to talk about contract renewal negotiations, believing it’s not the right time to address it.

Salah is enjoying a great season with Liverpool, showing once again that he’s one of the best players around the globe.

Despite Liverpool failing to grab the Premier League title, Salah was awarded both the Golden Boot and Playmaker of the season awards.

Furthermore, the 29-year-old still has the chance to fight for an even more prestigious title as his side clashes with Real Madrid in the UCL final next Saturday.

When asked about the contract-renewal situation, Salah refused to answer as he believes his team is in a very important stage of the season, and talking about negotiations now can only do harm.

“This is a very important period of time for my team, that’s why I don’t want to talk about new contract negotiations right now,” Salah told beIN Sports.

“My relationship with Liverpool and the club fans has always been great, they always support me and I give everything I can for them.

“My dream is to win the Champions League. I won it before but I want to win it again. If I had to choose, I’d pick the UCL title over the Premier League.”
