Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a press statement today, Wednesday, that Russia records all war crimes committed by the Ukrainian army, and all perpetrators will be held accountable.

Zakharova noted that Ukrainian forces continue to bombard residential communities in Donbass and use civilians as human shields, according to the Russian TASS agency.

Earlier, The Russian presidency (the Kremlin) announced that the Ukrainian side has get out of the negotiation track, and therefore there is no need to talk about the possibility of preparing for a meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky.

In response to a question about the importance of the meeting between Putin and Zelensky, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “Our position is very clear. Any meeting at the highest level must be well-prepared.”

Peskov added: “The Ukrainian side has get out of the negotiation track, and therefore there is no need to talk about the possibility of preparing for such a meeting. ”

On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on Washington’s decision to send new weapons to Ukraine, saying, “We cracked these weapons like nuts,” and destroyed dozens of them.

In statements to “Russia 1” channel, Putin said that “the Russian anti-aircraft forces destroyed Ukrainian weapons and cracked them like nuts,” confirming the destruction of dozens of them.

Putin warned that Russian forces would destroy any weapons that Washington sends to Ukraine
