CAIRO, Dec. 13 (SEE)- Celebrating the 75th anniversary of establishing the Russian Egyptian diplomatic relations, the Russian cultural center in Cairo hosted on 9 December a painting's exhibition for the Russian artist Tatiana Tkachenko. Entry was free.
This is the third time for Tkachenko to display her paintings in Egypt. First time took place in 2015, second in 2016.
Commenting on her journey as an artist, Tatiana expressed "Since I was so young, I was fan of dancing and drawing. Drawing then chose me. I love to draw about nature as it calms and gives me power."
Tkachenko, who is currently having an Argentinean tango course, is influenced by Spanish Latin America's cultures. This fact can be clearly noticed through some of her paintings.
Also influence of the Russian culture, including: weather, traditional outfits, and arts such as ballet, can be easily spotted.
